How This Work Was Lived
Hi, I'm Christina Renée Joubert.
I'm a human capability architect and educator with a focus on self-mastery. I'm also the creator of Personal Growth for All® and the Consciously Overcoming® Lifestyle.
For over 13 years, I’ve studied, developed, and embodied practical, brain-based tools that support real change in everyday life.
I’m not a licensed therapist, counselor, or mental health practitioner.
I created these tools and teachings by living them—every day, for years—in moments of stress, repetition, struggle, suffering, and choice.
This work isn’t theoretical. It’s embodied.
For much of my life, I lived inside patterns I didn’t understand—emotional pain, addiction, self-judgment, and an ongoing sense of inner conflict.
Like many people, I believed these struggles meant something was wrong with me.
What I later learned was simpler—and more hopeful:
My brain and nervous system had learned patterns through repetition and survival.
And what had been learned could be retrained.
I didn’t heal by forcing change or fixing myself. I learned by:
• understanding how the brain works under stress
• understanding how our programs are created and can be retrained
• practicing awareness instead of self-attack
• building safety before asking for change
• repeating small, compassionate choices over time
• becoming aware of my self-talk and the thoughts I have in every moment
• learning how to talk to myself in kind and loving ways
• reframing life so that I take my power back
What changed my life was not insight — it was awareness, repetition, conscious choice, and practice.
That awareness, repetition, conscious choice, and practice became the foundation of everything I now teach.
I don’t believe in selling transformation, identity, or a better version of yourself.
I believe in teaching skills that:
• restore agency
• reduce unnecessary suffering
• help people consciously train their brain
• help people work with their nervous systems instead of against them
The Consciously Overcoming® lifestyle is not something I own or sell.
It’s a way of being that anyone can practice—freely, in daily life. Forever—with or without me.
I can’t promise you peace.
I can teach you how to stop abandoning yourself and how to train your brain for self-mastery.
When self-abandonment ends and self-mastery begins, peace often follows—on its own.
If you’re here, you’re not late. You’re arriving. I welcome you.
